First Presbyterian Church participates in at least one mission trip abroad every three years.
In July of 2007, nine members traveled to La Ceiba, Honduras to build a home for a young widow and her children. In one week, the home was nearly finished by hand-mixing and pouring concrete into forms. The construction project was but a small part of the amazing spiritual journey the mission team experienced. The relationships that grew with one another as well as the people of La Ceiba were a testament to the greatness of God's love for people all over the world!
