Invest in the mission.

When you invest in God’s mission at First Presbyterian Church, your generosity fuels impactful ministries, supports community outreach, and helps spread the life-transforming message of Jesus. Your financial contributions make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals, families, and our community.

Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not regretfully or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

STOCKS, IRA, OR PLANNED GIVING

Stocks – If you would like to give publicly traded securities to FPC, we invite you to email us by clicking here

IRAs — If you are over 70 ½ years old, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA. In order for it to qualify as a QCD, the payment must be made directly from your IRA custodian to the church. Some of the benefits of giving through a QCD include that the QCD counts towards your Required Minimum Distribution and the QCD amount does not count as income to you. In order to do this, you should instruct your IRA custodian to make a QCD directly to the church. You will need to provide them with the church address and phone number.

Pay to:

Planned Giving — Remember FPC in your will and estate plans – This is a great way to leave a legacy and may be easier than you think. A member who notifies the church that they have a planned gift of any amount will be a member of The Conine Society. Contact FPC if you have questions or would like help setting this up.

Mission & Outreach

Your generosity helps us care for our community in meaningful, hands-on ways. From delivering hot meals through Meals on Wheels to offering hospitality through our Thursday Lunch Program, we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ. We support neighbors in crisis through the DeCelle Ministry, fund vital nonprofit work through the Jan Stewart Tolbert Community Grants, and invest in future generations through programs like Camp Viola.

Worship & Music

Worship is at the heart of our life together, shaping us as a people of hope and praise. Your gifts support meaningful worship through music, liturgy, and the arts. The First Arts program continues to grow, welcoming gifted musicians and offering events like Evensong, Holy Week services, and Lessons and Carols. Our worship also reaches beyond our walls, through livestreaming and social media, we connect with thousands each week, sharing the gospel and the work God is doing in and through our congregation.

Formation & Care

Your support nurtures disciples of all ages through faith formation and compassionate care. From Kairos Kids and youth group to adult classes and Bible studies, we are growing together in Christ. Through pastoral care, prayer, and connection, we walk alongside one another in every season of life.
