Ordination & Installation of Officers
Join FPC on Sunday, January 11 at 10:00 am for the Ordination & Installation of Class of 2028 officers. Deacons-elect include Mike Angstadt, Sarah Holle, Carol Stewart, and Sharon Teaver. Elders-elect include Ellen Harris, Forrest Johnson, Kip Johnson, Lennice Parker, Kate Updegrove, and Todd Yarbrough.
Christmas Caroling
Join us for Christmas Caroling on Sunday, December 21. We will meet at the church at 6pm and caravan to various locations around town spreading Christmas cheer! All ages welcome!
Lessons & Carols
Please join us on Sunday, December 14 at 6:00 pm for A Service of Lessons and Carols. This service will be presented in collaboration with the choirs of First Presbyterian Church and St. Mark's Episcopal Church and the Troup High School String Orchestra.
Christmas Brunch

Congregational Meeting
There will be a congregational meeting on Sunday, December 7 at the conclusion of worship for the purpose of approving Rev. Dr. James Goodlet’s terms of call for the 2026 fiscal year. This is a required meeting in Presbyterian Church (USA) polity. Thank you for your attendance.
Christmas / Dove Tree Gift Cards
The Mission Council is asking that you help this year by purchasing $25 Walmart gift cards. These gift cards will be given to the Berta school counselor to help families most in need this Christmas, as well as the Troup County Foster Parent Program. Our community is thankful for the generosity of FPC. Please bring all gift cards to the church office by Monday, December 1st.
Christmas Gifts to the Chancel Guild
If you would like to make a contribution to the Chancel Guild for the Christmas decorations in the Sanctuary in honor of or in memory of someone, please fill out and return the information below by Wednesday, December 3rd. The names will be printed in the December 7th & 14th bulletins.

The Personnel Council would like to thank our dedicated church staff members for their valuable and unselfish efforts in making sure that every responsibility of the church was carried out in a caring and professional manner. Please forward your contribution to the church office (attention: Debbie Kennedy) and identify giving as ‘Staff Gift’ or text FPCLAGRANGE to 73256 and choose ‘Staff Gift’ in the drop-down window.
